Cranbrook Maintenance and Rebuild Shop:

The equipment maintenance and field service is centered out of a full-service 12,000 square foot head office and service centre in southwest Cranbrook. With a professional and dedicated full time staff that includes heavy duty mechanics, welders, and fabricators, the company provides 24-hour service to its fleet of equipment and trucks throughout the region.

In-Shop Service:

The modern shop, built in 2003, is equipped with two electric, five-ton overhead cranes, a truck hoist, the latest sophisticated tools and an efficient shop layout. Three forklifts are used to facilitate the moving of equipment and heavy parts. The shop employs heavy-duty professional certified mechanics and welders, a light-duty vehicle technician and a shop aid.

The shop mechanics have the knowledge and expertise to remanufacture heavy construction and logging equipment as well as rebuild all major components in our modern facility. The shop carries an inventory of parts and exchange components that enables our crew to rebuild machinery faster and as a result reduce equipment downtime. FBC employs excellent maintenance and safety standards on all company machinery. Computer records are updated routinely on all equipment for parts and service work.

Field Service Vehicles:

The company’s main field service vehicle is a heavy duty three-ton truck equipped with a modern manufactured service box complete with a hydraulic crane, welding machine, high volume air compressor, oxy‑acetylene cutting torches, impact wrenches and a complete set of heavy duty mechanic’s tools. The unit is also equipped with an inventory of nuts, bolts, machine filters and mechanic’s daily supplies. The company also operates three additional fully equipped smaller units.

All working equipment is inspected daily for safety and to determine if any minor repairs are required to be done on site. These service units are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Amato Enterprises Ltd.:

Machines requiring major repairs are transported by Amato Enterprises Ltd. (A division of Fiorentino Bros. Contracting Ltd.) to FBC maintenance shop in Cranbrook.
